We are sorry to announce the death of Fattsota who passed away after a short illness.
Fattsota was a top class flat horse for both Marco Botti and David O’Meara reaching a rating of 112 and winning over £150,000 in prize money. He excelled when jumping out in front, he was tough and very difficult to pass as seen when winning the Stanley Wootton Condition Stakes at Epsom, also in the RiponBET Handicap at Ripon where he demolished the field from the front.
In latter years he reinvented himself as a hurdler and in his fledgling new career, had a record of two wins and two seconds from only four outings.
Our thoughts are with all owners, stable staff and connections past and present.
