Mark Johnston knows this family very well having trained Gold Medallion previously. This was a horse who won for Mark and he believed could develop into a stakes performer. The dam Gold bubbles was 2nd in the Musidora at York and has produced 2 winners from 3 horses to run so far.

He ran well on debut at Ayr in a class 6 maiden and despite being a bit green was only just headed on the line. His second run at Chelmsford in a class 5 was a lot more convincing and he beat the rest of the field in style.
