Al Qahwa was purchased from Godolphin at the October 2016 sales.

He won his maiden on only his second start at Leopardstown and finished his 2yo campaign with a placing in a Group 3. He built on this success as a 3 year old at Mick Halford’s prior to being purchased by Gallop.

Last season he started off his campaign by winning a class 2 handicap at York. He finished the season on a high after a great run at the Curragh in the “Bold Lad” sprint, winning connections the best part of 30,000 euros.

This year he will be aimed at all the Sprint Heritage handicaps and we are looking forward to another successful season.
